Fort William, at the southern end of the Caledonian Canal, is an excellent location from which to explore the breath taking scenery of the Western Highlands.  The town is dominated by Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.  It is also home to the West Highland Museum which contains the famous secret portrait of Bonnie Prince Charlie.  We stay for 6 nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Alexandra Hotel, which boasts traditional Scottish hospitality and a great location. All rooms are en-suite with TV, telephone and tea facilities. There is a lift to all floors.
