The Isle of Man is a place of stunning natural beauty, offering a rich variety of wildlife and landscapes. From uncrowded golden beaches and dramatic stretches of coastline to wild open moorland and tranquil, picturesque glens, the scenery is wonderfully diverse. The island is steeped in heritage with over 10,000 years worth of history to uncover. It’s also the home to Tynwald, the oldest parliament in continuous existence. The island boasts its own language, stamps and coins, although the currency is sterling. We travel by ferry crossing from Heysham to Douglas. Half board accommodation is provided at the Rutland Hotel, situated on the promenade in the centre of Douglas. A lift is available, but please note there are approximately a dozen steps leading into the building.
